We had an amazing family vacation at Kihei Akahi, booking a 2-bedroom condo that was perfectly equipped for our needs. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beautiful Kamaole II beach and close to shops and restaurants. However, our friends who stayed in another building experienced a very different atmosphere due to noise issues and some challenges with the management. Overall, it's a lovely spot if you pick the right unit and manage your expectations.
The Kihei Akahi is a decent spot with its proximity to the beach and various dining options nearby. The views are beautiful, and my unit had a well-equipped kitchen. However, the service left much to be desired, especially with a rather aggressive manager, and the overall condition of the facilities, especially the furniture, was quite disappointing.
The Kihei Akahi complex has potential with its great view options and well-maintained barbecue facilities, but my experience was overshadowed by constant noise issues and a less than ideal layout. I loved the idea of being close to the beach and the cleanliness of our unit, but I struggled with noise disturbances from both the nearby pool activities and the walkways. The walk to the beach was longer than expected, and the overall loud environment made it difficult to relax. Not the best choice for those looking for tranquility.
I had a great stay at this resort in Kihei, primarily due to its stunning views and proximity to beautiful beaches. The unit itself was clean and well-appointed, but the furniture didn't quite meet my comfort needs, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there are definitely areas that could be improved for a future visit.
